Woodland products (except Cabinetry) are available exclusively to the Interior Design Trade.

We are represented in regional markets nationwide through trade showrooms.

Woodland is not able to sell furniture, lighting, upholstery and accessories directly to consumers as we are a manufacturer/wholesaler and not set up as a retail business.  See ‘Consumer Information’ below.

ORDERS
1. All orders must be in writing and must be accompanied by a valid resale certificate issued from the state in which the order originates. All sales, use, excise and other taxes applicable to the sale of the Products must be paid by the Purchaser.

2. Orders are not scheduled for production until the Purchaser’s full deposit and all drawings, samples for approval and/or COM|COL have been received. Once this occurs an acknowledgement will be sent.

3. Upon receipt of the acknowledgement it is the purchaser’s responsibility to check all information for accuracy and report any discrepancies to the factory immediately.

STANDARD AND CUSTOM ORDERS
Custom orders require a drawing and/or finish sample. A signed approval must be received by Woodland before an order can be started. Drawings typically add 2-4 weeks to completion of an order.

PAYMENT
Woodland requires a 50% deposit to initiate an order and the full remaining payment due before Product is released for shipment.

FINISHES
Some pieces are not completely finished on the back or top. If you need the back or top finished, please specify on your order.

Although every attempt is made to be consistent, finish samples represent an average color. Finished pieces will vary in tone and color due to the natural characteristics of wood. These variances are normal and acceptable.

COM/COL
All upholstered frames are constructed from hardwoods. Net pricing assumes that Purchaser will provide the upholstery fabric or leather that will be used on the piece. All published COM yardages requirements are based on 54” wide plain goods that require no matching. Should a pattern require matching, additional fabric will be necessary. Woodland is not responsible for under- or over-provided COM/COL.

It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to clearly mark how the fabric is to be applied. In the absence of written instructions, Woodland’s best judgment will prevail.

COM/COL must be clearly labeled and shipped prepaid to: 4475 South 15th West, Idaho Falls, ID 83402.

The COL requirements are based on an average hide size of 50-55 square feet of usable leather. Smaller hides may require piecing and additional square footage. Leather is a natural product and imperfections are considered normal and acceptable. Additional charges may apply for COL.

FABRIC BACKING
If it is determined that a fabric requires backing after receipt at the factory, you will be notified and the fabric will be returned to the purchaser.

DIMENSIONS / SIZING
Dimensions listed in the Price List are given to the nearest half-inch. The final measurements of an item may vary slightly due to the handmade and hand assembled nature of the Product.

Nearly all of the pieces shown in our catalog are available in any size to meet your needs.

LEAD TIMES
The lead time begins upon receipt of signed drawings, finish sample approval, all COM/COL and 50% deposit.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Once a purchase order and deposit has been received, changes are allowable only if the order is not in production. Changes to an order may affect the delivery date and purchase price. Expenses incurred because of the changes will be charged to the Purchaser.

There is a 25% fee for any orders that are cancelled after the receipt of a deposit. The fee increases to 50% if the order has proceeded through the initial woodworking or upholstery phase of construction.

STORAGE
Merchandise left uncollected at the Woodland warehouse for more than 30 days after notification of completion could be subject to a monthly storage charge equal to 2.5% of the net price of the Product.

COMPLIANCE WITH LAW
Purchaser is solely responsible for compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws, ordinances, regulations, rules and standards relating to the installation, maintenance use and operation of Woodland’s Products.
